In the fall of 2002, six people got together in a little town called St. Michael, MN. Under the leadership of Mike Blanchet, they came together to pray for the cities of Minnesota. This was the first prayer meeting Present HELP Ministries ever had.

They continued to hold weekly meetings, and covered with prayer many cities and towns in Minnesota. In the winter of 2003, the desire in each one of their hearts to launch into ministry was growing and they felt the leading of God to go and reach out to the surrounding communities. This was the beginning of the Good News Group. This group traveled twice a month to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ.

In the year of 2006, PHM was given the opportunity to work on behalf of Living Word Christian Center at their Duluth/Superior satellite church. Mike Blanchet is the site pastor of Living Word Duluth Superior and has been continuing outreach, along with the PHM staff, to the Duluth area. This has been an answer to prayer for PHM, because now we have more resources to go out and impact the cities of Minnesota at a greater capacity!
